"Writing this EP has been a sensational experience. It’s the most powerful, boldest and heaviest work we’ve ever done so far. We named it the Abyss due to the dark period of time we’ve been going through, due to the pandemic. However, by diving into an abyss, for us, it doesn’t necessarily mean to hit the ground and die, but to be reborn. If we learn something from life it is that every time we have to face a hard path, we have to find a way of overcoming those obstacles. These tracks are full of rage, insanity, introspective moods, and very personal lyrics. Fall into the glooms of darkness with us."

2017 to 2020 saw Jason front the British rock outfit Louzada on guitar and vocals, achieving over 300,000 streams across Spotify & YouTube and amassing thousands of worldwide fans, all through a modest discography of just one single, and one EP. The arrival of the worldwide pandemic in 2020 brought about the amicable hiatus of Louzada, resulting in time to put in the focus and determination needed to launch his most ambitious project yet.
